Default Multiple PCV?

so it just dawned on me that i have 2 pcv's installed. seems like most the time i just hear about having one installed. so someone please tell me what its supposed to be 1 or 2, cuz i would love to install a breather for the added cool points. hell i would install 2 breathers if i could, but the engine would blow up if it didnt have the pcv valve. Help please, Thanks.

There should only be one valve. Valve should be on the side that has the line running to a port on the intake manifold itself, other side should have a fat hose running to the air cleaner housing.

One of your PCV valves may just be a hollow tube with a 90 degree bend in it too..... things changed over the years.

This is the elbow that goes to the breather, some are on the right and some are on the left.
