Gonna need a new carrier up front for those gears. Doesn't look like a bad deal, considering all you get.

id get a D60 front....from what ive learned, the D44's are good for about 35in. tires. I have a feeling your going to blow that front end running 38's regardless of your gear ratio.

Yeah I understand. I'm doin the gears mainly as a transmission saver mod. I do a bit of towing every now and then too. I don't rock crawl or anything extreme but I do a fair bit of mudding. I bought the truck with the lift and tires, and as a broke college student, I don't foresee any future mods as far as power goes (can't afford to break anything w/ more power). I take it pretty easy on the truck so I'm not worried about snapping or breaking anything. Once I'm outta college (ROTC) and in the army, I see a CTD in the future so I won't need to worry about axels.
