oxygen sensor wiring

oxygen side has the black grey and 2 white...truck side used the striped wires. just go to the junkyard and snip some wires. probly wont cost you a dime cause most JY's cut wires anyway.

The wires are the same colors on both sides of the pigtail/connector. What's the problem?

problem is i still dont know what sequence the wires need to be hooked up... can anyone tell me black/blue to white or green/orange to black? i just cant figure it out from diagrams

It would be nice if you put ALL the info about your truck in your sig! Or at least your profile. So we might be able to help a little better and give some more accurate info. The trucks are not always the same , year to year.

its a 94 1500 4x4 with a 96 360, 5-speed and ecu.

94, well that's a whole different animal. ADD that INFO to your sig please, so that it is permanent and we don't have to guess.

Best Guess:

Sensor Truck side.
Black: Signal wire. black with dark green trace.
Grey: Ground black with light blue trace
white (both) heater wires, polarity is irrelevant.

Don't know if your wire colors will be the same as the 01 manual shows them. The heater power feed wire should have 12 volts, the signal feed wire should have 5 volts.

Spacing didn't work out so well there........ typical.

thanks... now when testing the truck harness should i have 12v between 2 of the pins or 12v on 2 wires with a probe grounded on the truck? sorry i really dont know why these 4 wires are stumping me so bad
