oxygen sensor wiring

Ground the black probe of your meter on the frame, or some such, 12volt wire goes to one of the white wires. (heater circuit) 5 volt wire goes to sensor black wire. Are the wires on your harness the same colors as the guide I posted above?? (Truck side.)

no they arent, but i think i got it figured out now. my colors were black, black/blue, green/orange, and tan/white. i have it hooked up as follows... black to grey, tan/white to black, and the whites are hooked up to the green/orange and black/blue. seemed like the right way to me

Its a gamble..... I am thinking having it hooked up wrong will really annoy the PCM. Have you tried it yet?

i started it and let it idle for a few and drove around the court i live in, didnt go anywhere cause the garage door was still open

wish i could tell... truck is a mess and cel always seems to be on and cant get it to flash or read codes

Default O2 wiring

the two white wires are for the o2 heater the grey is signal to pcm the black is ground to pcm
