Red face Front speakers don't work

99 Dodge Ram 1500 ext cab front speakers quit working. Anybody else had this problem. Is it the speakers or the radio? Back speakers work fine.

Do you have the infinity sound system in your truck?

if its the infinity system there are amps attached to the front speakers - in the door. they might have gone bad, or blown a power fuse.

Not knocking, but why? You could have spent $100 and put better speakers in than what you had.

I had one dead speaker when I got the truck.

I connected my multi-meter to the speaker wires and cranked the volume and got a signal. So I reasoned it was a bad speaker.

I got new speakers, but have yet to install them. (Could still be wrong).

Now that's just weird. I posted AFTER JAPR........ his post shows 11:22, mine: 11:20.... My PC clock shows 11:18, Official US time clock shows 11:20...... This particular little error has been showing up a LOT more of late...... Was there a software update to the forums recently by any chance?
