Unhappy Need help!!! please help

so my truck has been dying on me while running, while trying to figure out what was wrong, i was adding longer wires to my sensor for te water temp gauge, i accidently touched the black wire to the back of the alternater, it sounded like i blew a fuse but checked everything and i didn't, try to start the truck and it thru out o/d off, low gas, check engine, trans temp, also gas gauge, oil pressure,and water temp went out. please help, need all mthe advice i can get.

Did the engine start? I suspect you may have smoked either the PCM, or the central timer module.

Not a good sign....... does your odometer read "No bus"?

I dont undersand "no bus" and also have no spark

There are like three fuses for assorted things in the I/C, and one more in the PDC as well.....

5, 14, and 17 in the fuse block on the side of the dash, and F in the PDC. Check all of those, and see if any of them are blown.

Do your gauges test when you turn the key on? (and possibly hit start....)

PDC is the fuse block under the hood on the drivers inner fender well. Pull the cover off, and there will be a guide printed on the inside.

the gauges dont test, check the 5, 14, 17 fuse block and no not blown cant find the pdc. where is it?
