Default 2001 Ram on Durango 17s

I looked around a bit, and saw the question asked, but never got a totally definitive answer, or better yet, a picture of a 2nd Gen on Durango wheels. Well, I bought some today, and put them on tonight. Sorry for the lousy pics, but they do fit, and look good compared to the steel wheels I had! I bought them with 2 good tires and 2 marginal tires for $350 off craigslist. Since this is just my beater truck, I'll just buy two new or good used tires and roll with them. The up close pics make the wheels/tires look too small, but in reality it's a pretty good look. I bought it from the State of Texas Parks and Wildlife just a few weeks ago. It's an '01 with a ton of miles, but decent shape. It's a 5.2 (dog!) with 3.55s and an anti-spin diff. I got the windows tinted today, too. Before...

Wheels are pretty nice, needs bigger rubber IMHO.

btw, When you gonna add ALL the info about your truck to your sig? Or do you like keeping us guessing and typing it in every time you have a question?

173k. And thanks! Yes, I know the drums need to be painted, but I just wanted to get them on the truck.

It could use larger tires, but I think the pics make it look worse than it is. Maybe I'll go get a daytime shot from a standing position so it's more accurate.

And point taken.

EDIT: Maybe this is a better representation. Again, it's my beater truck that will get used like a truck, so I'm not TOO concerned about appearance. I just thought this was a worthwhile $250 net (sold the old wheels/tires for $100 today) upgrade.

And the plates that will be going on, that I had on my 2005 Z56 (police) Tahoe. The plates are random, so don't try to read anything out of 'em.
