Default Coolant Leak in 5.2L

So today when I was taking off the battery charger (Left dome light on accident) I looked around the motor and noticed a coolant leak that was running down the motor. It wasn't a bad leak but its leaking alittle. I looked and it looks like its either coming from that pulley thats connected to the engine fan or is being leaked down on it. Its not leaking on the belt but around it. Is that the water pump?

Sound like you typical water pump failure. Check to see if it's coming out of the WP weep hole to verify.

There are are a few opportunities in that area for leaks. Heater hose at the manifold, or, even the bypass hose under the A/C compressor bracket..... It fills the pocket on top of the timing cover, and dribbles out wherever the low point currently is.... there is also the upper radiator hose, and thermostat housing right there.... (and one or two sensors, but, those really aren't prone to leaking... check 'em anyway though.) Timing cover itself is another possible leak. (Not sure whose bright idea it was to have coolant pass thru the timing cover...... just another potential failure point.)

I think you have more than one leak going on there....... Try cleaning the areas where coolant is quite obvious, take it for a drive, and have another look.

what do you think the possibilities of those areas are. Like where the leaks are coming from?

Assuming the pics were taken from under the truck..... Water pump. Freeze plug behind the drivers side motor mount. Possibly the heater return tube up on top of the water pump as well, but, that one, you should be able to see from above.
