Plenum is pretty simple job......it took about 8 hours for me because i cleaned EVERYTHING.....lots of crud everywhere......i took my manifold to a machine shop to have cleaned....it was basically brand new going back into the truck.....when you take off the plenum cover you will see the inside of the manifold will be dirty....

you can do it yourself.....i had no problem doing mine.....just label everything and keep things organized....you can do it......i have pics if you would like to see them.

I noticed nothing. I think my plenum was the only one on the planet still intact from the factory. I'm still glad it's done. I hated the thought of a possible weak link in the engine.

Did you remove the AC compressor? Did it leak out the freon?

my a/c has a leak in it, so no freon comes out.........you can move it out of the way without detaching the lines.
