Pull the covers off the steering column, and have a look at the wires to the multifunction switch. If you have tilt wheel.... they tend to pull our, or break.

Default Blinkers/Windshield Wipers

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, 5.2l, 127,000 miles

Strange question. For about a month now, every time I turn my blinker on, the wipers turn on and the windshiled wiper fluid engages. The wipers don't stay on. It's like I was trying to clean the windshield. The fluid will spray, the wipers will run for three sweeps, and then shut off. I have tried engaging the blinker arm at different locations, (so as not to even touch the windshield wiper portion of the arm), even right where it meets the steering column, and it still does it. It does this every time I turn left. And for the first time yesterday, it did it when I was turning right. Any ideas?
