Probably drives a chevette and lives in his moms basement and has nothing better to do then talk like a big boy on the internet anyway . Good luck with whatever you decide you want to do with your truck .

just throughing this out there but i bought all the idividual parts for both my firiends and my lift and it was $2000 for the suspension and body and shipping so for 11" of lift its not bad and its all skyjacker parts but good luck with your truck hope it turns out good

Ive had a gen 2 diesel with a body lift and lived it. I have a 3rd gen with a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body and like it. If your just wanting to run bigger tires body lift is a good way to get a little clearance and a cool look to the rig. Also a huge cut in the price over a suspension lift. However i do agree that the bumper brackets are not that great, but they dont build they like they used to. Alot of plastic and cheap metal for bumpers anymore! Personally I cant say i prefer one or the other but they both work great.

I have a 3" suspension, and a 3" body (Performance Accessories kit), and have not had a single problem with it. I abuse my truck pretty good when I am hunting and stuff, and it has taken everything I have thrown at it. That is not to say that some people don't have problems with their BL's. I think it depends on how well you maintain it (just like any other system on your truck), how well it was installed, etc... I have the bumper relocation kit installed, but I never use my bumper for anything except to stand on. I still have my receiver hitch mounted to the frame just like it was before the lift, so that height never changed.

Most people who hate body lifts have not seen a properly done kit. They've seen home-built bootyfab and don't know the difference. I had a truck with a 3" body lift and a 2" leveling kit on 35"s. My neighbor had a similar truck with a 6" suspension and 35"s.
I was talking with him last week about the truck. He told me "no way was that a body lift, I would have seen the gaps and stuff". I just laughed.

Woah Bro, thats a Tube chassis with a chevette fiberglass body. And we don't have basements in SoCal, or the Southwest really for that matter.
