Hey 2nd genners. My dad wants to replace the cracked fog lights in his 97 ram. His factory fog lights are 4". All the replacement lights we have found are listed as 3" in diameter? What is going on here? Are the replacements actually 4"? Or do you all have 3" lights, and his truck is just wierd? He has owned the truck since new, and has never changed the fog lights. It does not have the sport package.

Well. Thats peculiar. As you can see, replacements like this one below list the diameter as 3 inches. We could spring for a universal light, but then we'd have to hope we can reuse the factory mount so the light is actually in the hole.

Buy them and see. I've have replacement ones that said they were 3'' and they fit perfectly, like the factory one did.

If you buy 2 new ones, get them for a 99-01 NON-Sport model. They have a clear lens and are brighter, and look better IMO.
