i have a 318 and i dont have a problem getting it to move, when deathflash was on it was a different story, but after some mods and superchips i dont mind it. its not fast, but its a lifted truck lol, its not going to be unless its a CTD.

and as for 2 of the identical truck, i think it would come down to the driver, the 5.9 only has 5hp more than the 5.2

Your right, it WAS fun, win lose or draw, we had a gas! LOL He wants to go again, but I told him that I'm confortable in victory! LOL
I figured it would be about like that. Are his tires the same size as yours?

It's probably best to quit while you're ahead before he does something sneaky like install an SCT.

Yeah, same size tires too. I knew there wasn't much difference in HP (but 5 hp?), but I thought the torque of the 5.9 would overpower me. I was happy though and now I get to rub it in every chance I get! LOL It was the best 2 outta 3 and I wanted to quit after I won the first 2, but gave in to 1 more, and managed a win, so there's NO WAY I'm racin again and spoilin my perfect race record!! LOL

Uhhh, guys, at the crank, there is a 15HP and 35FTLB torque difference between the two.
There IS a difference, will it matter? Prolly not.

I guess I'm a bit behind on posting...but I figured you would win. Your truck weighs about 500 lbs less than his, which offsets his small advantage of hp and tq. The rest was eaten up by his tires.
