Powertrax ?
I'm going to install a locker to replace my Limited Slip in the near future . Who is running a powertrax and have you had any problems ? I have a part number for the Limited Slip replacement # 92-0392-3125 and for the Dana 44 up front part# 92-0444-3000 (for those of you looking ) I myself am going to stay away from the front locker for now until I can find a selectable one at a reasonable price . I am running 4.56 gears with 35" tires . Thanks for your imput in advance and I look forward to hearing from you .

Most of the reviews I have read are pretty positive. The folks with high-horsepower rides, that drag race had a few complaints, but, that was for the older versions, before Richmond bought the company that makes 'em. The offroad world seems to like em, front and rear. (for trucks with locking front hubs, which we do not qualify as.) Inexpensive, easy to install, reasonable road manners for a locker..... Just gotta pay a bit more attention to driving.
I am running the noslip locker and have had it for a couple of years. It has been trouble free, but I really don't beat on it. When you are pulling out onto a road you don't want to give it too much gas because the tire on the inside will lock and try to spin the same speed as the outside tire causing the inside tire to spin, but other than that it is quiet and you really don't know its in there. It did real well in the snow. My tire size is the tiny 265/75 R16 and I am now running the 4.56 gears.
i've got a powertrax noslip with 285/75, stock 3.55 gears, stock hp, and i don't beat on it. with heavy lugged tires, its awesome in the mud. i generally like mine, but there's a few things that take some getting used to, and some people don't like.
its not recommended for overly large tires > 33 or high hp.
it chews up the grass when you drive in the yard.
its pushy feeling in curves. the inside tire is pushing.
on wet roads the inside tire spins in 90* turns. this can lead to a spin-out, so be careful.
mine is very smooth, and makes no clicking noise.
mine makes no noise when it unlocks or relocks.
every once in a while it will make a POP sound, that scares the hell out of you at first.
i have mixed feelings about a locker in the front. it can cause sliding instead of turning, so i'm scared of it.

I've grown to dislike my No-Slip compared to other lockers, but I have a manual tranny, it should be pretty smooth with an auto.
As someone who's done a lot of driving in the snow with my B2 that's locked at both ends, it's really not a big deal, you'll learn to steer with your right foot too. Now the worst part about being locked front and rear is that when you spin all 4 tires, the whole vehicle will slide the direction the road is sloping so be careful about that!
