Vent Selector is stuck????

They also put out a TSB for this on the 94-96 trucks. I did what it said and my wild vents problems are solves.

Ya, I downloaded that. I just bought the truck, haven't gone into it yet. Going to check under the battery too.

If the selector hasn’t been used for a long time, it is possible that a deteriorating seal has the door stuck.

For me, cycling the selector back and forth many times broke it free.

It was confirmed to be the problem when I subsequently pulled the dash and rebuilt the unit.
