Default 2000 ram no signals help please

working on a 2000 ram 1500 and i have no signal lights, now before its said. yes i replaced the flasher and the combination switch, checked all my plugs for corrosion, checked and replaced fuses, now i had a short in trailer wire causing no brake lights fixed brake lights work. 4 ways work, running lights head lights tail lights all work. i can put a test light from ground to one of the wires and get it to all work but signal flasher stays on non stop. i am currently beating my head on the table trying to figure this out.. and before im told yes i traced the wires back looking for more shorts or broken wires.

Check fuse 10 in the fuse block inside the truck, and fuse 4 in the PDC under the hood.

If those are good, make sure you are indeed getting power to the flasher unit, Pin 51, and pin 58.

You replaced the multifunction switch? How did the connectors look on that? If you have tilt steering, the wires have a tendency to pull out of the connector......

What happens if you step on the brakes, and turn on a turnsignal? Does the light go out? or stay on?
