Default Sonar Projector headlights

So I bought these sonar projector headlights from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DODGE...S-W-LED-DESIGN-_ And they were extremely dim. The wiring is funny and causes the High beam indicator to come on when the lows and highs are on. The high beam 9005 bulbs are connected to the same circuit so when the highs are pulled both low and highs come on. I upgraded the h1 projector bulb with HIDs but highs dont come on anymore. I was wondering if...
1. I could find a way to turn off the high beam indicator by rerouting the wires.
2. If there was a way to get the highs to come on via a toggle switch or something so that i can still have the hids for low and hit a switch for highs?

Does anyone else have these projectors and have you rerouted your wiring to do this or something similar.?

You have to do some re-wiring to get every thing to work the way its suppose to. There is a thread on here that explains every thing, I just can't seem to find it. Maybe some one else can chim in and find it.

In the mean time, give this a read.

Just flip the blue and black wires, it'll work fine then. How did you ground it exactly? Don't want you to have more troubles later. I highly recommend hide for the projectors. They really make a significant difference and prices have dropped dramatically on HID kits.

I cut the black ground wire that goes to the high beam bulb and grounded it to the chasis. I saw it in another thread and figured i would try it, I did it and now the highs work great and the low HIDs that i have turn off when the highs go on and turn on when the highs are off. Oh and the blue high beam indicator dash light is off now too. Is this a good fix for it or will i run into problems in the future?

That is essentially the exact same thing as switching the wires. You should be fine.

I did mine a little different seems they plug and play with sport models but not with the rest, I flipped mine from the headlight connector on the truck, some one got smart with putting silicone on the connector for the projectors......Just for searchers sake with the projectors I got and my 96 dodge the matching colors were red=red, black=black, and blue=purple/white

How do your high beams work? I have the Spyder projectors and high beams are crap... When my low beams are adjusted just right, my high beams are high into the trees with only one adjuster. :/

EDIT: just realized this thread is 3 years old. Never mind
