no prob man just some of the other ebayers projectors have and orange reflector next to the blinker.but the one i have are a clear reflector so blue would work ^^ ( you can see the reflector on mine on some pics a posted a few pages back). but over all im quite happy with these they are 110% better then the stock headlights aslo they look wicked when the halo and leds are just on i have been getting some good reactions from people that see them ( good attention getter).so now that all my problems are fix and were nothing major im suggesting you all to get a pair of these projectors huge difference in light output at night ( they come with bulbs in them aswell i just replaced my high beam bulbs with silverstar ultra bulbs 9005 and their pretty damn bright ). so if anybody wants a pair of these and need any help with the set up or just want some more photos let me know and i can hook you all up .

Default HID's in ebay projector lights.. beam is not lines up right

Well I put the HID kit in my eby projector lights and the beam shines out to the sides and down. Does any one know if I can adjust this, or will HID's not work at all in these " projector" lights. I really like look of the lights on my truck, and I really like the look of the HID's in the lights, just the beaqm is not aimed right. Has anyone had any experience with HID's in these type lights. Thanks

The projector is not designed for HID lights then. Plain and simple. Either disassemble them and modify the bowl's, or you are SOL.

In all honestly, I would have done a real projector conversion. Prolly would have cost you less.

Default Ram with HID ebay projectors

Here is a pic of my Ram with the HIDs. I really like the look, but it does not put any light on the road.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Default What type bulb should I use with ebay projectors?

After reading these post it looks like I am going to have to take my HID's out because they just don't work. From everyone's input it is going to be hard to decide which halogen bulb to replace the HID's with. What would be a bright bulb with a hint of blue? I've heard silverstars, then not silverstars, then eurodesigns, and farenheit. What would be the closest halogen bulb to my 6000k HIDs that I have in now? REALLY hate to get rid of the HId's, but that is what it is going to take to get my correct beam pattern back.

Also just out of curiosity, how could someone mod these ebay projectors to have real projectors? It seems like that would be a TON of money and time.

Thanks for all the info.!

Why do you want ricer blue headlights? Blue is the least visible color of the spectrum, and will give you horrific night vision. Not only that you will be a a fix-it ticket magnet.

A real projector conversion for those lights would probably be around $100 depending on the projector's you use. However you will need either a DS1/DS2 bulb, as well as bulb adapters for your original ballasts.

Maybe I missed worded. I don't really want BLUE headlights, but very pure, white, not the halogen yellow. I have 6000k HIDs
and these are not Blue, but very bright and clear. I would like a halogen bulb that would produce the same effect.

As far as converting to real projectors, I have to take apart the whole housing and replace the eBay projector lens with what?

Thanks for the input! Greg
