Default 95 ram ABS code 4

My ABS and Park lights have been on for months. I read up on here how to read the code, and got 4 flashes: RWAL valve switch in closed position ( or open, I don't remember now)

Either way, where do I go from here? Would bleeding the brakes do anything? The lights came on back in the winter when my front pads and rotors were shot, maybe just coincidence.

If you disconnect the battery to reset the codes, how long before it comes back on?

Give it a shot. Usually, its the rear ABS sensor that is the trouble......

Replace the sensor on top of the rear axle housing.

Did that a few weeks ago. Wouldn't it have pulled a different code if it were the sensor anyway??

that ABS system isn't the brightest in the world...... Might wanna recheck the installation, and make sure the connections are clean, and tight.

Rear is all hooked up fine. I did the batt. disconnect and the lights werent on when i started it, then I went back in the truck a couple min later and they were on again. I think they might need bleeding. I installed all the lines myself over a year ago, fronts before backs, but I had a light before I did the backs. As soon as the backs were done the light went out, but months later it came back on. Maybe a full system bleed will take care of it.
