Default Is there anything I need to know about swapping a PCM?

I reluctantly had to purchase a new PCM as mine had some issue where it wouldn't allow me to set it back to stock with my SCT tuner and completely wiped itself. So, the questions is: How do I go about putting the new PCM in without causing any issues? I know I need to unplug the battery but do I do both Pos. & Neg.? Or just one or the other? Is there a way to completely drain all power that is in the truck after removing the battery line? Is there a FAQ or a Walk-Through on this situation? Thank you for any responses!

Disconnect the battery. (negative cable only will be adequate.) Wait ten minutes. Swap the PCM. Hook the battery back up. Done.

Disconnect the neg cable, key ign on for 10sec then off, dont need to wait, remove the 3 electrical plugs from the pcm, unscrew the 3 screws holding it to the firewall.
Oh early model years had a cover over the pcm so that cover would need removing first (removed mine ages ago)
