97 dodge v6 died question

Nope, that's the oil pressure sensor. CKPS is further back..... and lower down on the passenger side. (cleverly concealed behind all sorts of stuff that like to slice flesh, and absorb blood....)

if you have no spark at the plugs, follow the spark path -
check the distributor cap and rotor.

I replaced the cam sensor in the distrib (still no spark)

- still cannot find the crankshaft position sensor on the v6 magnum.

odd all codes are now gone since replacement of the cam position sensor, however, still seems like no spark

Are you checking at the coil? I have had (many....) caps fail on me.....

Default fixed- root cause Crankshaft position sensor

I replaced the cam position sensor, the cap , the rotor then the crankshaft as I couldn't find it

putting this out there for others as I had a heck of a time finding it though many said behind block.

I had to get to it by jacking up car going between the pipes and finally able to see it, taking the 2 bolts out by feel.

just putting this out there for someone else on how to get at it or at least how I was able on the v6
