ebay pocket fender flares?
I haven't seen any pictures of those installed. If you happen to find any, please pass them my way or post them in a post here. The BW uses some kind of edge tape to adhere theirs also. If you are not concerned about price, BW might be the best way to go. You have their reputation behind theirs. The eBay ones don't look like they would cover as much as the BW's either. Good luck.
It sounds to me that those pocket flares bolt on where the splash guards bolt on, and the 3m tape is to hold the top of the flare sealed against the body.
Everything stock is attached with 3m tape, any more. All the molding, the bump strips on doors, it's just tape. Do it right, prep it good, and it won't ever come off, except with a heat gun. Then you use the eraser to remove the residue.

what does the price of ford fenders have to do at all with a dodge? even if you could find them for that price, which you cant, its still going to cost a lot more, between prep work and painting, and the pile of extra time it would take for install, it would comeout nowhere near the price of flares, not to mention that doesnt do anything for the rear
Here was Glass for $175

and I've seen 2 other guys selling painted glass for $220 and $250 respectively. Do the homework, parts are you there. You just have to find them.
As for the bedsides.. HA! Pull them. Pulled bedsides = free.

AHHHHH it makes soooo much sense!
No disrespect was taken, we're good man.

anyone have a set of them, and pics of what they actually look like? they are quite a bit cheaper than the bushwackers, but the BW flares only claim to add 3" of additional tire coverage where the other brand is claiming 3.5", yet in the pics, the BW flares look wider????
i got pulled over by the wonderfull CHP this morning, and now have to install flares, mudflaps and remove the tint from my front windows
, here are the options...

Fiberglass costs the same across the board depending on class. Compacts/midsizes cost about the same, as well as full sizes/SUV's. Make doesn't matter.

you ever stop to think if there was any previous body work done? watch what happens if you pull a fender that has been repaired before
but thanks to everyone else for actual input

What previous bodywork has been done to your bedside? Please enlighten us. Unless it is now made of aluminum foil, I'm sure pulling it will be fine. Drill the spotwelds, spread, reweld. Easy.
So what I posted wasn't actual input? Pulled bedsides are a free solution to half the problem you are having. Sounds like you made a hardline point earlier, and your ego is preventing you from taking good advice.
Whatever, your $$$. Your problem. I have multiple vehicles with tires well outside the wells and cops have never bothered me. Prolly because I've never given them a reason to pull me over. Like obnoxious tint.
