Default High Idle

After replacing a defective injector and TPS yesterday, my idle is very high (around 1000 in D) Is there something that needs to be reset or any other reason for this to happen? I wrote it off at first, that it was actually running on all 8. Is there a wrong way to install a TPS?

There is no real wrong way to install a TPS. Did you clear the ECM prior to restarting the truck after the parts where installed?

+1 on reset the PCM. disconnect negative battery cable and turn on headlights for 30 seconds. reconnect battery and fire it up.
