Update!

So I dropped the rear suspension and tried to push it back using a come along to see if I could get at least a 1/4 inch of play on the passenger side and pull it backward. If I could do this and have SOME movement then I would do the other side and gain the other 1/4 inch for a total of 1/2 inch and that would center it.

Well, that didn't happen. It didn't move at all!........The usual......LOL......Hopes fade.

So I measured the front leaf bolt out to the frame and the frame is straight. So I move to the center of the leaf pack bolt from the front leaf bolt and there is the 1/2" difference! I think the leaf springs are different measurements from the front leaf bolt to the spring center bolt, meaning a casting or drilling error, however remember the spring arching and a set back from which....Pain in the ***!

So I looked at part numbers and they match as a set..... Gettin way freakin irratated!....Anyway I came to a error from the factory either way.

So now I'm sit back drinkin in my normal mixer tonight while I think about how to fix the situation. Well if I get main new springs I will hope it ends up the correct square after the arching is set with the weight on it OR I fix the good springs I already have......Hmmmmmm

What if I get some solid 3" blanks from the metal yard and have them cut to fit. Then drill a center bore at 1/8" off center on each side bringing each side to 1/4" off, thus bringing the rear end into square. -1/4" off the drivers side and +1/4" off the passenger side?

All in all I would end up with solid blocks and a square rear end?

Opinions wanted?????????
