I was surveying eBay earlier, and if I'm lying, well...

there is a chip for sale on there that promises 110% satisfaction, and it's only $22... While using this chip (catch this) on a Ram 1500 5.9L Magnum V8 from 1993-2010, you will increase your HP a whopping 130HP, while boosting your mileage to at least 40mpg..

three or four items below it, and sold by the same folks is yet another chip.. this one is also $22, and will increase your HP at least 200HP, and push your mileage even further- to 80MPG..

this is a promise from a reputable company that has been doing business on eBay for 20 years! And to further impress you, they have also been a PayPal certified merchant for the same amount of time, with countless satisfied customers..

Dang.... I ordered three of each... It just clips into my coil wiring harness is all.. takes less than 5 minutes to install.. I'm going to put all 6 on there just to see what happens! (and I'm going to make sure my pilots license is still valid too, as I may need it)..

You gotta love it.. There are so many things wrong with that ad that.. damn, I don't even know what to say..

 

You have GOT to be kidding me....... Companies making such outrageous claims should be banned from selling anything......

no s*** ive posted 3 times saying its a POS trust me. Not worried about that if im going to have to get my plnum fixed. Tune comes afterward. Unfortunately I bought it a year ago and wasent on a forum to hear it dosent do anything so stop making it seem like im an idiot. Its pissin me off dude. Forums for a learning experience and advice on how to better something. Dang, hard to make it PG13 on here however thanks to those who take someone with a bit less experience but the drive to learn seriously. (i just turned 19 keep in mind)

easy dude... I don't know a single soul who hasn't been dunked at least once.. I know a ton of folks who claim opposite, and I know a few liars..

the ad's I mentioned are pretty much quotes (which were paraphrased for entertainment purpose).. If those same clowns making such claims were to sell the EXACT same product advertising 10HP and 3~4MPG increase, my guess is they would sell five times the product... and THAT is sad.. but it's the way of the world we live in nowadays..

I was waiting in line at the gas station the other day, and on the counter was '5 hour energy' bottles... on the other side was '6 hours of energy' for the same price.. My mind went back to 'Something About Mary' and our serial killer who wanted to sell '7 minute abs', and freaked out when '6 minute abs' was suggested.. believe it or not, I'm about to make a point..

SOME gadgets work.. not the magnets on your fuel line that somehow 'excite' molecules of o2 in your gas line for better mileage, not the fancy piggy-back stamp sized chips that you put on your firewall that miraculously communicate with your engine via telepathy, and not a $22 chip that promises warp speed and unlimited mileage- but some do--- - - - such as an SCT..

The guys who market like I shared in my first post are making money off of the advertisement of truly functional devices, that provide better performance, at cheaper prices.. it really sucks, because their are many who were hoodunked by the stage 2 jet chip that won't give an SCT a glance, because they 'heard' ALL programmers were garbage.. (and were burned by buying the former, though they won't admit it)..

 

yeah thanks man i gotcha there. I just joined to get help. I have a few buddies that are truck experts but well, ones a chevy finatic and the other is stuck on a cummins diesel, cant blame him though, great truck. I just want serious answers and a good joke here or too. Not to be ridiculed. Hey, theres good help on here and some who well, browse the site and good point too about the chip on e-bay. I did fall victim but I learned. Now im gonna sell to some other unfortunate person so they too can learn and I can by a B&G custom flash, oh yeah
