Been looking for that service manuel with no luck, Help.

Ok new up dates, Big red was running just fine Sunday shifting super, then out of the middle of know were, the truck stops getting power, coming from the trans sounds like complete grinding, I put it in to park, You think its in park but the truck keep rolling. It acting like it cant find any gear, I go from 4l to 2h to 4h, over and over again, and i manage to get her to move about 100 feet, then she stops, and now matter how much i try She will not move for the life of me, So here I go, I call the local tow service and have her parked back in the drive way. Im pulling no codes at all.

I need some one to point me to pressure sensor and solenoid, the parts I need to buy.

and the service manuel

If its making rude noises, you are in trouble. Drop the pan, see what you find in there. Metal shavings? Assorted metal parts?

manual. Click on it. download it.

Dig thru the manual, find the 46RE trans, and dig for where it talks about governor pressure sensor (or possibly, transducer). Should be a pic of where its at. Pull em out, and see what they look like. They tend to get clogged with the crap you found in the pan, and stop working..... might be able to clean em out, and be driving again. Maybe.

With. I am surprised they even asked.... did these transmissions EVER come without locking torque converter? (that is what they are referring to, right?)

Verify that they are indeed talking about locking torque converter, if so, yes, you have one.
