Default Where the heck is the Park/Neutral Position Switch - Help me interpret diagram.

Having starting issues. Starts fine in neutral - not so much in park. I want to look at the park neutral position switch. Do I have to drop the pan to see it??

I cant figure out this diagram.

Should be on the drivers side, toward the front, there the linkages are. You don't have to drop the pan, apparently, but, you WILL get fluid out the hole when you remove it. (passenger side front corner of the trans pan, just above it.)

Nope. I think the way it works is the same way the 4x4 light switch does. There will be a plunger in the switch, that opens/closes the contacts. More than likely non-serviceable, requiring replacement when it fails. Before you yank the switch, check continuity across the terminals. Might be a wiring problem, and not the switch itself.

I guess the question is will I even be able to see the contacts?
