well got my motor in last weekend did most of the reconnection yesterday ,got a few odds and ends left to tend to and hopefully i'll be drivin this pig by next weekend .anyone need a spare crank, rods ,camshaft ,lifters etc.im keeping the intake and timing cover the rest of it is going to scrap so if you live nearby and want some free engine internals let me know .man i hope this engine runs good .it was an alleged good running motor,it was free so guess i shouldnt get upset if it doesnt but it better.

 

What size engine? And why did you replace it?

5.2l replaced it because the original had multiple holes in the #6 piston from detonation .the block is junk and the head may be burned through between 6 and 8 .yes i stall have valve covers they're even semi clean :}
