see, in my case, when my low beams are ON, everything is ON, including the HI-BEAMS but when I go to turn the stalk to HI-BEAMS, it will get a TAD brighter, but still both lights are on

Do you have a two bulb, or four bulb system?

Yup, the 9007 and 9004 plugs are identical in looks. Just wired differently.

The sockets/harnesses may or may not be colored differently.

Simple to troubleshoot though. Flip the two plugs on the driver's side around. No change? Flip the two plugs on the passenger side around also. No change? Flip the plugs on the driver's side around again.

Did you buy the right bulbs and put them in the right plugs? (See above posts for the ones you need.)
