That it does! I'm just glad to hear that it is running with an acceptable oil pressure though. I may eventually switch to a high pressure pump though just to be safe. Now to get behind the dash, disconnect the check gauges bulb and the chime, and I am set! well except for the exciter ring in the rear diff.....damn abs system

Just go with a high volume pump, you will get better pressure that way in any event, and the increase in volume isn't going to hurt you a bit.

Wouldn't I have to get a bigger pan to support extra oil so the higher volume pump won't suck my pan dry while I'm goin down the road?

Nope. Not an issue for me at any rate.

well $45 isn't too bad for the high volume at both auto zone and checker auto parts...I'm currently running 5w30 in there right now...if everyone agrees that my oil pressure is normal than were set for now. Thanks everyone for the advice! saved me from replacing my computer (250+80 core...)

Sounds good, I'll have to get one ordered after xmas and wait for a day with decent weather to put the high volume pump in. Thanks for the advice.
