im only getting arund 10 with mine as well. that may have well to do with the fact that i currently dont have overdrive, i have a slight misfire, and my plenum is blown to hell.

 

I found out that the way you check if its bad. Pop the pvc out and put your thumb over the hole and get some one to hit the gas 4 or 5 time aleast hitting 3,000 rpm. Then take your thumb off. If you hear a shhhhhh sound you have a leak. What this does (if you do have a leak) is that when you hit the gas the the intake leak will sucks the air out of the motor then when you take your thumb off the air rushes in the motor there for making a shhhh sound.If you dont have a leak it will not make a noise.

 

That would make it easier to check. That's good info

 

shoot, i may just get an aftermarket intake manifold and such this summer. i get 20 mpg highway with overdrive. 12 city. 13.4 to 14 mixed with longest of 15 miles of highway one way. Not too shabby?? stock gears and 31 tires. good or bad?

 

That's not to bad that's what I'm getting and I jsut got my whole turck checked out and there is nothin wrong with it
