Removing Upper Dash?

Removing Upper Dash?
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to hide my GPS wire in behind the dash so when I have my Garmin up on the window (bottom left corner of my windshield) I can just have the USB end of it right there.
My plan is to wire up a 12V accessory plug in up under the steering wheel area, and have the Garmin wire go up thru the dash. Problem is, I cant feed it up thru there. I was wondering if I could just remove that top part of the dash, where the 5 screws are up close to the windshield. How difficult is it? Do you have to remove the trim face piece part? I have been searching on here, and I couldnt really find anything in my repair manual.
Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful!
Thanks,
Brandon

If you have several people its not hard if you take your time. I had to replace my heater core last year and me and my brother did it by ourselves. If you decide to you should check your core and any other parts under there because you won't want to do it again a few months down the road.
