No wires for 4x4 on your truck. Vacuum lines though........ If the t-case turns the front driveshaft when in some flavor of 4x4, you have a vacuum issue. Does your cruise work? Do your heater vents switch right? Do they go to defrost when you step on the gas, or go up a hill?

Yep, verify the CAD is getting the correct vacuum signal. Might be as simple as the switch on the t-case.

Disconnect the vacuum lines at the CAD (on the front axle), pay attention to which is which. With the engine running, and the t-case in 2 hi, outboard port should have vacuum, shift t-case to 4hi, and the inboard port should have vacuum. Leave the trans in park..... don't wanna get run over.

200 bucks for the posi-lock.

Check the source line that goes to the switch on the transfer case. (pull the plug off the T-case switch, engine running, and see what ya got.) If you have vacuum there, make sure the plug is aligned right. If it still doesn't wanna work, and you DO have vacuum TO the T-case, replace the switch in the T-case.
