It doesn't seem like it's hitting anything but I've never actually gotten out and looked either. I'll check that out today at some point.

It's not a vibration, almost like a slipping feeling. Like if you were turning on a icy, yet somewhat not icy surface. Like as if it's slipping, grabbing, slipping, grabbing. That's actually a better description that jerky I guess.

Thanks for the advice thus far guys!!

LSD problem?
Is it worse when turning in one direction or the other, or about the same?

I have not paid that close attention as I don't make many sharp turns to the right. I know it happens when turning left. I will pay attention tomorrow when I drive it & post it up.

To check the rearend, jack up one side at a time, put the tranny in nuetral and spin the tire, if you hear any odd noises or feel anything unusual, it's coming from the diff.

It seems to be the same no matter which way I turn. And I also noticed that it doesn't have to be a total crank the wheel turn. Only about a half turn...like halfway between straight and a totally cranked wheels turn. Does that mean anything to anybody?

Pull the diff cover, look and see if you have an LSD, if you do, fill it back up with the correct fluid, that has the additive. (friction modifier) See if that helps.

Are you talking about the front or rear? How do I know if it's a LSD diff or not?

Rear. if there is more in the carrier than just spider gears, you have some variety of LSD. (lysergic acid diethylimide? I really don't think so...... )

If you DON'T feel it thru the steering, that is where I would start looking.
