do they have the r/t casting near the 3rd set of valve springs?

If yes, you got a steal.

If you cracked your stock heads & have to replace them then I guess its an ok deal.

If your looking to get better performance, well at least you didnt pay much.
Those heads barely flow more than stock heads do, reason they stopped making them years ago.

Those heads look like they've had a lot of miles put on them, Why didn't you post a pic if you had it before you asked if you got a deal?

I thought they had to be cleaned before you could magnaflux for cracks? those don't look too clean...

Personally I probably would have passed on that deal for sure with how dirty they are. Like aim said, you can have them magnafluxed, but... i'd just return them. Who knows what condition the springs, valve seals, etc.. are in. If you have to relpace that stuff, that sucks. By the time you add up your costs, you could have bought a pair of iron ram's like aim has for 800 to your door, brand new castings and all new hardware ready to bolt on. You can pick them up on ebay for 375 a side plus ship with the 2.02 valves, but here is a link to hughes for head comparison.

I will take them down to the head shop and have them look at them see what they say. I will have them port and polished.
