Default blower motor stays on when ignition is off!

I shut the ignition off and take the key out, and the blower motor will stay on! i can shut it off if i turn the climate control **** to off. and the fan speeds all work... i swapped out the blower motor relay and that didn't help. i thought maybe blower motor resistor? but people tell me you usually lose fan speeds when that goes bad. any ideas?

Check and see if you have power at pin 86 of the blower motor relay with the ignition off.

Do any other accessories still work with key off?

i get 5.3 volts on pin 86 with ignition off. and i just noticed if i turn off the ignition real slow the blower motor shuts off.. no other accessories are on. i wonder if a bad ignition switch would do this?

Thats what I was thinking, but, I would think that more than just the blower motor would be affected....... But, the fact you are getting power there does kinda indicate a failing switch there......
