Default ABS issues (rear hub??)

My old man works at a Ford dealership. I had him take my truck in to smoke the vac system. I got my vent system fixed but I also had them look into why my ABS light is on. I replaced the front hubs and ran the front ABS lines wrong and rubbed though the right side line. I've since replaced that line but the light is still on.

Anyways, he told me the shop told him that my right rear hub is bad, thats why the ABS light is on. Rear hub assembly? I can't find any Rear hub Assembly parts for priceing. What did they mean by this? Can I word it differently to find parts?

It could be the sensor on top of the rear end housing. But, when that is bad the brake light is usually on too.

edit: have you checked the fuses and or relays too?

Brake and ABS light is on for fronts too..

My right side got cut through on mine last year.
Check the resistance on each side, when good they were 950-1000 ohms IIRC. The plug is under hood on top of each wheel well.
When I replaced mine it took 3 days before the light went out, and I disconnected the battery several times.
And as Zman said there is the rear ABS sensor on the top of the Differential not on the Hubs.
I would lean toward fuses too especially if only ABS light is on, I think there is 3. 2 under hood and one on drivers side.

I'm sorry. The ABS and the brake light is on. I will try and replace the sensor in the rear. See if that fixes it. Its weird too, When I start it up, the lights are off, then once I build up some speed they kick on and stay on. The speed sensors are found where in the rear?

The fronts has new hub on both side as of two years ago (what a disaster project that was) and I ran the lines to the correct hook-ups. Just the right side rubbed through on the rotor. But like I said, I replaced that line with a used on off of a 350). and tacked a tab to tuck the line behind so I doesn't get cut again. Unless that line was bad to begin with, I don't think its a front ABS issue.

Only one. Sits right on top of the pumpkin. Easy to find.

Make sure the rear brake line that runs along side the gas tank is not leaking, while you are under it.

If you do the quick resistance check of each front sensor You can be sure.
