Unhappy Leaf springs broke

(UPDATE) Here I go again. Took my truck to get inspected and it wouldn't pass. Both leaf springs are broke. There is blocks in there now and I need tro know what is the best way to to go now. There is 2 block, and that alone will not pass Instection here in Pa. Where is the best place to get lift springs and price or should I go another way.
My wife is MAD AS HELL WITH ME NOW

Oooops...... mad wives are bad. very bad.....

Just about all of the lift companies make lift springs for our trucks. If you have a lift kit on your truck, call the company that made it, tell 'em what you want, and they can give you a price. Otherwise, check either summit racing, or Top Guns Customs.... they will also have lift springs available. Get 'em tall enough to eliminate the additional block.

That's what I was thinking. I just hate to spend that kind of money right now being christmas, but I need my truck to plow with when it snows here.

HeyYou I was also thinking about the relay problem I'm having here for my plow light. What about using the fog light switch and runing it through a relay to turn the lights on. Sounds like it would work, but what do you think?

Fog lights are disabled when you hit your brights. Not entirely sure why...... I am sure the government has a good reason for that requirement. (yeah, right.....) Of course, there is a workaround for that as well.

Ya gotta replace your springs anyway...... and also keep the inspectors happy..... and ya wanna be able to use your truck...... so..... might just as well make it better too.

Making the wife happy again? Well, that may take a bit of time... if you actually can make some money with the truck, doing the plow thing..... hopefully, that should put a smile on her face.

Something else to consider.... If she is game, have her come WITH you when you plow. Good opportunity to spend some time together.

I have had her with me when I was plowing and she was hating life. I take my little girl and she loves it, but the wife hates her going with me plowing. Don't know why, but O well. I did see on ebay topgun had some life leaf springs and it has 600 or make offer. I was thinking of making a offer of 450.00 all they can do is say HELL NO. So there web site it has 600 as well for the pair.
I was also told I need rear brakes sand it seems I have a axle seal leaking on the right side. This new used truck is costing me now. Thank god I have a few dollars in the bank

Well the spring have 2 inch in them and then there are 2- 2 inch blocks. So, the springs would have to be 6inch lift leafs or use a 2 inch block with 4 inch lift leaf springs

one of the blocks should have an 'arm' on it for the bump stop, that one came from the factory in there. So, four inch springs are what you are looking for.

Yeah, looks like around 600 bucks is gonna be it...... bummer.

Cool. Looks like a good price. Start soaking all the bolts that need to come off with the penetrant of your choice NOW.
