Default Getting starter Armature inside brushes trick??

So I only have 2 arms not 4. Any tricks to getting the 4 starter brushes back enough to slide the armature in??

no personal experience on these, but there should be a place to insert a pin that will hold the brushes back. once in place, you pull the pin to release them.

if not that, look for a place to hook the spring back. careful, don't break it.

OK I am a dumb@ss. All you have to do is remove the 2 screws on the back of the starter. That release the brushes. Then you can do it from the top.

I dont know where my head is lately.
