I updated my Sig and its 4 wheel drive. And the problems with the tranny is. It dont shift right by itself when its cold. I have to manualy put it through the gears. But after about 5 or so miles it does just fine. The truck sat for about 5 years with out moving. Untill one day my dad asked me if I wanted it. So of course I took it had to replace everything brake wise up front and gas tank straps. Did just fine for a month and a half and now this.

There should be an output shaft speed sensor on the transfer case, maybe that is where the plug goes. I doubt it has anything to do with the problem though. You have checked the fluid level properly right?

My truck also has a plug that hangs by the side of the tranny. It is a 2 plug connection but it is female. It hung right by a bung on the tranny line for a temp sending unit. The truck never had a sender here as long as I owned it. I assume it was an extra piece of the wiring harness for those trucks that had a tranny temp light in the dash. I have never worried about it and have never had a tranny issue related to it.

When your tranny is cold allow it to sit in neutral for a few moments to allow the fluid to flow as these trannys do not flow fluid when in park. See it this changes the tranny problems.

Did it just get really cold when you started having these problems? The fluid will get think when it is really cold and could cause flow issues.

It should not be an electrical problem as the 95 has a 46RH and the electronics only control OD and torque converter lockup.

Ok so I figured out the plug was just extra for an option that I dont have. The truck is still bogging at full throttle but only while in gear. The MAP sensor checked out ok, the IAC is working and the TPS is new. Did a fuel pressure check and that is good too. Im just at a loss here i dont know what else it could be?????????

If you can, put the fuel pressure gauge on, go for a drive, and see what pressure does under real world conditions.

It was the CAT the whole time smacked it with a hammer. And it shot out a ball the size of a tennis ball. Now it runs like a champ
