The pressure on the steering will needs to be relieved before you can turn the key to the lock position. Turn your wheel a bit in the direction it moves.
my truck dont have a steering wheel lock never has...
Haha, i had this same problem when borrowing my friends durango. I fumbled around with it for a about half an hour until i noticed i that i wasnt completely in park... i laughed at my ignorance after getting the key out.
I have the same problem but I have to pull the shifter **** all the up and forward because it seems that my truck won't go into park. Help?!?!
