Default stuck key

ok so today got home from school and went to pull key out of ignition and it was stuck. I wiggled it and tried to put the key in acc... spot it wont turn back that far i dont know whats going on. i thought about just getting a new igniton switch and lock cylinder. it is not a huge deal i just lock the doors and left the key in it but i dont want someone to walk by while i am at school or work and get any ideas. I pulled the covers and looked at the ignitinon it seems easy to change

So long as the name on the registration matches the one on the drivers license.....

Just don't forget your wallet. That would be fun to explain. (for certain values of fun.....)

have you checked to see if you did not turn the key ALL the way back. You know, there is a setting for you to just run your accessories (radio). Instead of turning your key to start, you turn it BACK to run accessories. You will not be able to pull it out like that.

nevermind, I read through your whole post :P

You probably had your wheels cranked when you turned it off, no?

The pressure on the steering will needs to be relieved before you can turn the key to the lock position. Turn your wheel a bit in the direction it moves.
