key still falls out though and head lights are still dim i just switched bulbs helped a lil bit and wet sanded the lense

 

From the looks of that negative battery cable, I think the corrosion has wicked down inside the cable and is killing your ground. The corrision will actually wick down inside under the rubber insulation. I do believe if you were to replace the negative cable with a new one, a lot of your problems will go away.
