Anyone know which side of the CAD and Transfer Case the Black and Red vacuum lines are supposed to go?

Did you read through the link I gave you in post #3? And when did you buy the truck? If ONLY the gasket was replaced, expect it to be blown again.

Yes I read the link.

I bought the truck in July. I don't expect the gasket to hold up forever, but I do know as of now it isn't blown. I am not going to tear into the upper intake just to fix a blown plenum until I see oil through the throttle body.

So long as you get vacuum to the outboard port in 2wd, and the inboard port in 4wd, color coordination doesn't really matter.

Default Vibration 4x4 issue

My 96 is vibrating when u start truck after sitting overnight and will vibrate for a mile and half then stop. 4x4 light comes on when u start truck go out when moving and flicker when slowing down. Not sure if soft vaccum lines on front axle plugged in right goes up and connects to vaccum lines by the motor.

well by all means, go with the eliminator

however, its not too difficult to get the cad functioning properly as long as the t-case is doing its designated PART!

ramtough, welcome to df. normally you should start a new thread with your question but we won't quibble about it.

read this. http://dodgeram.org/tech/repair/4X4/4x4_engagment.htm
then troubleshoot your indicator light switch on the drivers side end of cad. start by disconnecting the switch and squirting the both ends out with wd40 to get rid of the mud, salt, sand, and crap. next check the vac, should be strong, non-leaking vac on one side in 2wd and 4wd in the other. vac leaks are very very very very very common. if the light switch is bad, just replace it for less than $20.

edit - vibration could be cold tires with a flat spot on the bottom, or it could be front axle u-joints, or front drive shaft u-joint.
