Rut Roh! Roomie decided to try to replace the burnt fog light and driver turn light in hopes of a fix? Anyway.. he connected battery to turn fog lights on to see which one out. Interior came on (as usual) and the one fog light.
He replaced bulb on the burnt fog. Connected battery to test, now the interior lights and both fog lights won't come on. Still has headlights and pass brake light. He's trying hard to not have a melt down right now.

Big news. I tried pulling switch upward, thinking about it maybe sticking below. I got it out and unplugged!!!!!!!!! The wiring is going towards the door, but then gets sandwiched between panels and goes down, if that makes any sense. Now... to test the switch....
you have wiring issues.. I deserve an award, and you deserve a speech for that prognosis..

you are likely poking around in there and upsetting an already feeble connection.. these are all related to that switch- which is capable of operating ALL the lights you're having issues with..
if you've a wiring schematic, start studying it.. look for the COMMON HOT wire that feeds that switch... find it's color and gauge, and locate it in your harness.. follow it in the harness as far as you can, and see if it has been damaged due to splice, or any other reason..
I don't know how the switches are, well, switched.. tell me this: when the battery is connected, and you open the door.. does the dome light come on then?

Well... my manual says to check for continuity between
A) left front door jamb switch sense circuit terminal; and
B) key-in ignition switch sense circuit terminal
of the headlamp switch.
I am comparing the headlamp switch wiring diagram in the manual to the diagram on the switch itself, but it does not match up to me.
The switch itself has the following labels: B1, B2, B3, U, P, H, D, I
Oops.. sorry... yes, the dome light comes on when he opens door
