Aftermarket headlight questions
Does anyone have these headlights?

If so, how is the wiring on it? If I install HID's would I need to find a way to splice the brights?

I have these but in smoke....kinda lost on what your talking about as far as splicing the brights, it runs one bulb for lows and a different bulb for highs
All you have to do is swap 2 wires in the connectors

Maybe I am confused then,
This headlight is taking something that is one bulb and making it two bulbs. If I understand it, the kit is pre-spliced.
If I want to install HID's into the assembly, I will need to break that splice, because of the ballast, and splice the high beam wires before the ballast. So how hard is to splice the brights and what wires do I use. I dont have a volt meter at my house.

The kit you have listed in the link comes with HIDs and ballasts for the high beams. The low beams appear to be your stock H4(?) bulbs. The wiring you would have to splice in on these appears to be to make the little LEDs and ring work with either your parking or fog lights. Interesting approach. I like how they charge $42 for shipping.
Yeah, the shipping is what is turning me off on this. I currently have 6000k HID's as my low beams.
I guess I will just need to figure out the problem when the headlights arrive.

Ok gonna try and clear some stuff up....(not sure how they have the HID's setup since I added my own)
Here is a picture of the factory plug side with the three wires going into it(note. this is after the wire swap the purple wire and black wire should be in opposite spots on your plug)

Here is a picture of the new headlight plug notice that grounds go to center, and that there is some sort of liquid electrical tape(reason why you switch wires on factory side)

This is a picture of the of the wires to the projectors stock halogen connected to the the HID bulb wires.(the blue and black wires with female ends would normally connect straight to the H1 bulb, I put the male ends on the wires from the HIDs I had)

If you were to put HID's in for brights too then yes you would have to splice in the HID's, Also Im not sure if they have the opening for the projector drilled out bigger but I had to dremel the housing a tad bit for the HID bulb
And a picture of my ballast mounted
