What goes in this hole on the intake? '96 5.2 Ram
This is a junk yard engine that I'm putting into a Wrangler.
Look up and to the right of my broken oil pressure sensor.
I'm not sure what was originally in this hole, engine was already pulled - and I didn't see anything from the donor truck that looked like it went there?

Yep. EGR Valve/tube/whathaveyou. Has the block off plate already. That engine out of a 96 by any chance? I think they stopped using the EGR system sometime in 96, but, still had manifolds with the provisions. My old one looks just like it.
Yeah it is a 96. So was there a tube here at one time - that may have got removed with the exhaust?
Does that hole need to be blocked off or should there be a tube connected to it?

you are gonna want to plug that hole as well. That is the port for the exhaust to enter . I just had mine off to mod it ...I just bought a 3/4 plug and spun it in there . It will keep water/dirty air and debris from entering . cost is about $1 .
