As far as injectors go:
Drew,
Sean will need your a/f at WOT. It will probably bounce around a little bit, like 11.1-11.3 as an example. I just tell him the range and he'll cut the fuel a bit. Reload the new tune and do another WOT run. Sean told me to aim for 12.8 to 1. That gives you near max power with fear of leaning out and pinging. Just keep going until you get there.
The PCM used tabled values for WOT, so the a/f ratio is actually a lot more stable reading than when the O2 sensor gets in the mix.

thanks again man..
I'm going to get it taken care of ASAP.. I don't trust the laptop to read accurately, so I'm going to install the wideband a/f this week..
I've already emailed Sean in hopes he 'may' have a canned tune for these injectors since they are a popular mod.. I'll get him the data as soon as I have it to get it closer. Unfortunately, I'll have to drive it this week like this- which doesn't make me happy.. I just pulled back into the drive, and I'm happy to report it does do a 'little' better when it's warmed up.. I mean, there is no backfiring either way- but throttle response isn't there right now, just a bog..
Appreciate the help!

Try this,
Go key on, engine off for 2 minutes before you turn it over. That will let the heater in the O2 sensor preheat a bit and you'll get to closed loop much quicker.
When you get the a/f meter, get an idle base line and see what it looks like. If, for some reason, that is fat, then Sean will need to adjust the baseline parameter a bit.
I seem to recall that I had to let my truck idle for about 5-10 minutes on the initial install to get the a/f ratio under control. After that, the PCM has a new baseline to work off. If you haven't done so yet, reset the PCM and let it idle for a good bit.

So after all of that great info has been put out there, can anyone tell me will putting elts say 21lb/ injectors in a 318 cause it to maybe backfire when really getting on the gas? I already seem to have made a mistake by getting the accell #21 injectors for my truck. 2 of my stock injectors broke when removing to do the plenum repair and kegger mod so i decided to purchease the accell before doing any research. The accell injectors are rated @ 21lb/hr and now when i ease into the pedal the engine will slowly rev higher, and when i stomp on the pedal the engine will pop and bog. Oh boy. Should have left it alone.

I am still running a bit rich at WOT though. But I didn;t want to disturb him during the holidays. Make sure you get the reading with your truck at FULL OPERATING TEMP
heck yeah I'll take the 24# tune.. it's gotta be better than running as rich as I am..
please.. I'll PM you my email..
and thanks for the info about full operating temp.. It will be later this week before I can weld in the wideband bung.. I won't even attempt it myself.. Welding is something I just have to admit I'm really bad at..

I appreciate it man..
what data will Sean need when I send him my a/f? I have a computer program and a USB-to-OBDII cable, and can capture a good bit of info. Is it just the a/f dial at various RPM's he needs?
and, I'm completely agreeing with you Aim4, all a person would have to do is stand behind the truck to tell it's running rich.

I think the first tune would work for you. i can send that one over email if you PM me. Since mine were 24 @ 43.5.
I wish I could go back and get the yellow 19 lb injectors.
