misfires
I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L I have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires and still have a miss. It seems worse when going up hills and and lower RPM. If i am putting the gas to it I don't notice it. A mechanic told me it could be a crank sensor but I have not replaced it.
in the process of fixing u joint of course because truck is not able to be driven otherwise. As far as the miss goes i still have one. One mechanic has told me that my thermostat is stuck open which makes the truck think it is constantly cold. So it is shooting to much gas into the cylinders. And that is what fowls my plugs and of course causes a miss. But i have never heard of that happening
