Default dual exhaust anyone?

heres the deal. i have a 94 1500 v6 and ive been looking for a dual exhaust system to fit my truck until my eyes bled. the closest i got was some company called pacesetter. the only problem is they only make em for a short bed or a 6 footer...of course mine is an 8 footer. im convinced im gonna have to get it custom made but if anybody has any suggestions id apreciate it
if a system does exist id like to get the side exits but at this point id be just as happy with the rear exits
thanks alot

You could buy the system and put in an extension. I believe you are better off just having a custom exhaust shop put one on for you. They are normally fairy inexpensive

I agree that it would be best to get a custom exhaust done. That way you could get it done however you want it. It would be no more expensive than ordering one.

I've seen the flanges and 90 deg bends at Summit, you maybe able to do your own...

you might consider doing this... check into the performance gains 1st though... get this p/n SUM-642125, then get the collectors from summit (not sure on the p/n) and see if you can find a 45 deg (I'm guessing here) piece to tie the two together... On my truck, the header collectors are at a 45 deg angle to the ground, so it makes it a little challenging for me to put my own kit together for my truck. otherwise a y-pipe for a late model 4x4 would be excellent!!! (no-one makes one).

does your exhaust manifold have the collector by the firewall? or is it in the middle of the manifold? I havent seen one so I'm not sure what the setup is.

edit: actually, now that I think about it, true duals would not be a good idea on your truck since your motor is so small... you'll need as much low end torque as you can get, I'd do a cat back setup from Flowmaster either 3" single out or go with dual 2.5" out reduced down to 2.25"...
